Variation between environment and maternal mortality rates in Tanzania
The maternity mortality rates are one of the myriad challenges to the government of Tanzania because it varies very tremendously between the districts. This documentary explore why such variation. The shot was taken in Northern Tanzania in Lushoto, Moshi and Serengeti districts.I think is necessary to share contrasting views about what are desirable or what constitutes the ‘purpose’ of maternity service in Tanzania as strategies for reducing mortality rate.we hope through this documentary,many individuals, organized groups and public as well as private agencies may have their own stake or concerned about the issues such as the quality, availability, and sustainability of maternity service in Tanzania.We beleive,this exploration leads to new insights and promotes learning,therefore action for change.learning is motivated by tensions and conflicts and is as participative as possible, including all interested parties.
